Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you consider yourself a boutique florist?

We accept a limited number of events a year in order to focus fully on your special day. We want you to have our undivided attention in order to take care of every detail of your wedding or event perfectly. We want to be intentional about communicating with you and hearing about your needs and desires and believe that less is more when it comes to building out our schedule.

How much should I spend on my wedding flowers?

The average cost of wedding flowers is 8-12% of your total wedding budget depending on how lush you want your flowers to be. Right now the average wedding in the Austin area is about $30,000.

Do you have a minimum?

The answer is yes and no. We do have a minimum for full service events which is $3,000. The reasoning behind that is that it takes just as much labor and time to create a wedding with a huge budget as it does to create one with a modest budget. The big difference in the price is in how many flowers you want and how big a team it will take to produce your design. That being said, we want to be able to fit many budgets and do that by offering micro weddings and elopement packages.

What is a micro-wedding or elopement package?

A micro wedding is a term that popped up with the pandemic. Since we were not able to gather in large groups, people who didn’t want to wait began planning much smaller weddings. For a micro wedding, we will typically provide ceremony flowers, a bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets if necessary, and boutonnieres. These may be picked up or, if you prefer they can be delivered for an extra fee. An elopement package is typically a bouquet and boutonniere and is pick up only. Either of these packages can be customized to fit your vision for your much smaller but just as important day!

What is included in a full-service event/wedding?

If you are planning a full-scale wedding and want the whole deal, you can expect us to provide a personal consultation, floral designs unique to your style, wedding day/event date delivery, set up, and strike and packaging of the flowers for you to take home at the end of the night.  You also have the option to repurpose your flowers in a way that you choose.

What is floral repurposing?

You have invested a lot into planning for your special day and if the Texas heat hasn’t gotten to them, your flowers may still have a lot of life left in them! You can choose to gift your ceremony and reception flowers to a nursing home, hospital or church. We will transfer them into clear glass containers and deliver them to one location the following day. It’s our way of giving back to the community together.

Will you travel outside of the Austin area?

Let’s talk! We love to travel and depending on your location, we would consider working out the details with you. There may be extra fees involved.
